Since 2001 the Genoa Port Terminal (GPT) has become the container terminal of reference for the Port of Genoa, an Italian excellence that handles over 580,000 Teus per year. Terminal Rinfuse Genova (TRGe), located in the heart of the Port is the access gate for bulk products and more, passing through and from Northern Italy.
The core business consists in the provision of port operations such as disembarkation, embarkation, storage and reloading on motor vehicles, both boxed and barrelled, for bulk products such as coal, thawing salt, silica sand, cement. In recent years we have included other types of bulk goods including agri-food products, fertilizers, various minerals, steel products, project cargo and more.
The terminal has 3 docks, a covered warehouse and covered basins for bulk cargo. The project born in 2017 foresaw the progressive transformation into a "green terminal", and now it is where the preferred movement is of environmentally friendly bulk.
The company operates in the port of Salerno, one of the main port hubs in southern Italy. It carries out services for both container and RoRo vessels, as well as container storage, IMO and reefer storage, in an area of over 110,000 square meters.
